Default Underwater Video Bass an Gills Snorkeling Colorado River

This was from lake Mohave on the Colorado River below Hoover Dam. Really clear water and fish hang tight to shore so easy to approach. I should have tried fishing.

Nice video...

Wish I had camera gear growing up, was an amazing experience to swim in the rivers with schools of Atlantic salmon heading up to spawn.

I was out on the Colorado River last week north of Yuma (Fishers Landing down to the Imperial Dam) and had no luck fishing at all. Water temp was 55F, and i threw everything out, had one striper follow a crank bait to the boat. Pretty disappointing! Maybe I need to try spear fishing instead!!

Yeah guys get very big striped bass in blacks canyon of Mohave lake below the hoover dam during the fall. Maybe it's worth a shot. Guys also catch them on large trout pattern swimbaits. Fall can be tough though.
