The Truth, writ large. Hard to argue with it.

Is there any chance the Mods could make that billboard a Sticky on this forum?

There's a few here who could benefit from the insight it provides.

Just sayin

Very funny, looks like a comment on having a speed limit so low the average bicyclist could break it.

Odd we all know how stupid other's choices are and not how stupid ours are.

A common speed limit in residential areas of the US is 35 MPH (= 56 KPH).

Fits for me. Looking back, most of the bad things that ever happened to me were really my own fault.

Yeah we better get this as a sticky so the "look down on others" crowd can get their daily fix.

Like you just did. Good example!

Seriously, some times people DO get themselves into trouble with their decisions. Can't ALWAYS blame someone else, can you? Well of course you can, but...

I'm not the one pushing for the sticky.

We all know people sometimes make stupid decisions, we really need a sticky?

I bet you have a mirror in the toilet, don't you. Every time you walk by it, you are looking for a fight

How people can go around driving the speed limit when they know full well that speed kills is beyond reprehensible...it's stupid! If the speed limits were reduced by 20% or 50% just think of all the lives that would be saved. I guess some people just don't care about saving lives.

Wondrous!!!!

Knowledge comes from experience and experience comes from learning from our errors. Everyone makes them, except a few here on AO of course.

Some kids Joy ride, have a drink under age, smoke some dope, get knocked up, steal a thong, [ My friend actually intended to pay for it, I just forgot], and hopefully get smarter.

Taking responsibility for the mistake is bigger indicator of character.

Huh? Every time I look in my mirror I'm looking for a fight??

That makes no sense at all.

And unfortunately some people choose to muddle through life, barely learning from their own mistakes, if at all. Forrest Gump's mother (a.k.a. Sally Field) said it best; "Stupid is, as stupid does".

The alternative (and better course) is to take the high road, and not only learn from your own mistakes, but even more so ... learn from the mistakes of others, as well.

If it saves one life....do we really need to get anywhere in an hour when we could do it twice as safely in two hours? Time to start fining people who insist on driving the speed limit.
