Need gopher hunters by Pigeon Lake

Broke up a quarter of land that is infested with gophers. They wiped about 10 acres of canola clean off of it last year. Land owner wants them gone as well and have permission to shoot. Looking for some hunters in late march, april, and may to clean some of them out. Land is located south side of pigeon lake. PM if interested.

I might be interested.

I have a BIL a few miles south of MaMeO that I haven't visited in a while.

If my health permits I'd like to visit him this year and adding a gopher hunt would be icing on the cake.

If we can agree on a day, or three, I'll see what I can do, when the snow starts to melt.

I'm off the medication now and hope that will turn things around.

Hey WOTF. I'm retired and practically live at our RV property on the southeast side of Pigeon all summer. If you end up needing another shooter any time I'd be happy to help out.

I’m just in Calmar if you have a some guys back out or are overrun and need someone on short notice shoot me a message. Will likely be on Spring Break Up by then so I will be available anytime. Haven’t done any plonking with the 22 for a while would be nice to do some. Here is my weapon of choice customized Ruger 10/22 that I have tinkered with.

Remember that in March and April you will only be shooting the males. Better make arrangements with some of the guys to come back when the females and young come out later in the year.

W of 5th... If there is a big gopher colony I'll bet a badger or two will move in this winter or spring.

By the end of June the mature adult gophers don't come above ground so thin them out early.
