Default Good luck

First post asking for fishing spots is not one you will get many (or any) answers on.
You can probably understand why.
Most use the tried and true way, find your own water by walking and exploring.

The thing about the Bow River is there are no spots. Well, there are in the winter time, but from spring until late fall, the trout move around the river.

Do some research on fly fishing high, dirty water.
Cross-reference your findings with places that you can easily access.
Catch nothing.
Repeat.
Catch nothing.
Repeat.
Maybe catch a fish.
Repeat.
Catch fish.

The Bow river does not give up its secrets easily. And what really burns is that if I gave you a fly and place to go, you probably still would not catch fish, and would probably limit your success in catching fish in the future.

So true about most fishing waters. I think that’s what keeps us coming back for more. The joy that truly comes from catching a fish on the water that has beaten you on many occasions
