Being an informant against the Clintons would be at the very top of the list.

I wonder where IT guys fit on the scale?

I mean, obesity and long hours sitting at a desk, drinking Red Bull and coffee... That's gotta be hard on my system....

I am not surprised that Police did not make the list, they carry loaded weapons all the time and have for the most part an ability to defend themselves. The car chases are likely the most dangerous.

I am surprised about firefighters, however the majority of them die later from lung cancer etc, so they are not classed as on the job deaths.

It's all in the wording. Leaving Military out is a numbers game too.

Construction workers
Pipefitters and commercial plumbing
Men make up the majority of workers in most of those occupations, which explains why men are 30 times more likely to die on the job than women.

I agree that your list is better and that it pertains to Canadians. Having known that all the lists are very similar, I took the first list that I found on the website.

The point that should be noted is that those not on the list that are continually claiming that their professions are the most dangerous or deadly are doing a fine job of keeping the public misinformed.

I think the % mixed into the national numbers can change things?
Example breaking horses. Is that agricultural?
Depends to like auction marts can be dangerous depending on how they are set up. Haha calving can be hazardous. Depends a lot on how your doing things. The facilities you have.
Rodeo is super safe. Soft ground, rough stock that generally bucks a nice even half circle by the shoot, there is always an out or escape for someone on foot. Always people around to help. People still get hurt.
I think most agricultural injuries are just not reported to anyone unless they are fatal.
My grandfather packed less firepower and armor in WW 2 than what these modern law enforcement people seem to feel they need to be safe.
