Thumbs up Dad and i yukon bull moose

Well after 14 days of total exhaustion and mountain house for supper i am very happy to say that me and dad both killed bull moose, i got a real slammer of a bull too.

Our trip led us into the unknown as we were going to do a back pack float trip down the wind river in the yukon, i guide him and he guide me. we were dropped off and told to float that way.

Dad is 57 years old and im very glad i had hinm along, i called both bulls fromn about a mile away with cow calls and we shot them only about 400 yards from our little airstrip we built for the plane, when your backpacking these big old boys you want them close thats for sure.

I am sitting here in my room and cant sleep of course becasue i can hear trucks and noise, lol. As soon as i get home i will post pics for sure, but what a hunt i will say.all of it caught on my new hd video camera, dads bull come to about 45 yards just slobbering and swaying back and forth ready to fight , IT WAS AWSOME.

Holy jumpin' judas priest that's a nice bull! Congrats, and it's good to see that you newbies are starting to get this hunting thing figured out. Warms the cockles of a fella's heart I say.
