My first little rifle underwent some changes today. I love the rifle however I was never happy with the factory stock, it just didn't feel right shouldered. Not only that, but the factory fit was horrible, the mag sticks, and there was a large gap between the stock and the receiver. It also never came with swivel studs (I know these can be added).
So after reading up I decided to order a Hogue over moulded stock from Amazon. Today after giving it a thorough cleaning I installed it. I am quite happy now with how it is shoulders. The fit was nice and tight, much better then the factory stock.
Hogue stock was the first thing I did on mine as well.Just like you, it fit way better after that. Because it was more comfortable, I was shooting it better.
I put on the Zombie Hunter Green sock that they offered a little while ago just to be a little different but I like it way better now.
I am excited to take it to the range now. This rifle has seen a few improvements now, the tuffer buffer and a cheap utg rail and ring set also from Amazon. That scope is a Tasco 3-9 that Canadian Tire had on sale for $39.
Although it's still a $400 rifle, it feels more like a $700-800 rifle with these upgrades. I wish I would've done this sooner.
Good looking stock how much$ might want to get some low rings lower that scope down tho just my opinion and we know what opinions are like haha. Cheers
