May Long weekend

me and about 7 other are hopping into canoes from red deer 2 drumheller for the weekend and I was just wondering what i should do to maximize my fishing experience....I don't have a fly rod but would like 2 catch fish while i'm drinking :P maybe just lures?? any suggestions would be appreciated thanks

something that really get's their attention. River is fairly high and dirty still, more rain forecasted for Friday. You can use bait, I think, down stream of content bridge. Probably best bet. Check regs to be sure.
