Default Mule Deer in 346

Is anyone having any luck this year in that area? Been out a few time seen a few white tails and bears. Just wondering if anyone that travels the ANC road if there is any out that way?

I have been out a few times already and haven't seen one mulie. I can't that I have been down the anc haul rd. But the few times I have been out has been in the south and south east corner of 346. I guess were looking in the wrong spots! If anyone else has more info on where we could find one of those critters in 346 it would be appreciated! Cheers.

Good luck with the mulies.
I think all the years of the general season on them from mid-sept to the end of nov. has taken it's toll.
Gonna take awhile for them to come back now that its draw.

ya been all around the Grout creek area and not one mulie yet. Was out around Windfall side on Sat. nothing but a small black bear. Not sure what the farm land north of Edson has.

I had my draw out there last season. Put in a lot of miles on the old legs. Seems as if most of the mulies moved onto the farmland around Shining Bank Lake. Didn't see one buck out Windfall way. Unfortunately wasn't able to fill the tag.

I did manage to get one last year around the Grout creek area. It was 2nd last weekend of the season. It was only a 2 x 2 but still counts as my first mulie. This year my 13 year old son has the draw. Was hoping to get it at the beginning so I could try and get my first elk but no luck so far.

Think I am gonna pull the plug on the mulie hunt for a bit and see what this elk hunting is all about. Who know maybe one will jump out of the woods while I search for a elk.

Finally seen my first mule deer this year too bad I couldn't ID the sex of it. In some heavy young pine couldn't tell if there was antlers or not. Go figure just my luck. Oh well at least I know they exist lol
