Default Stolen firearms....nova scotia

Hey gang, this was a post on our local hunting forum earlier today.

I'd like to post it here and anywhere I can....just to try and shrink the world of those Bas***ds that stole them.
Cut down a few more chances of selling these online or anywhere else.
............Thanks....Shortmag

*$5000 CASH REWARD*

Recently several hunting rifles/shotguns/crossbow/ammo were stolen from our family farm in Dean off of HWY 336. Some, but not all of the rifles include the following:

3006 Browning Xbolt Composite Stock with Yellow Pin Stripe
270 Weatherby WSM Black Composite Stock
375 H&H and 470 Nitro Express S2 Blaser with Swarovski Dangerous Game Scope
325 Browning Xbolt WSM Composite Stock with Stainless barrel
10 22 Ruger
22 Magnum Ruger
Thompsons Centre Bone Collector 50 Cal Muzzle Loader

Several guns are not listed

Any information leading to the return of my guns or the apprehension of the persons responsible will result in a $5000 Cash Reward. Your name and information will remain confidential and anonymous.

S/N's have been given to the RCMP, and DNR, and a few local gun smiths / shops.

As many of you will understand, some of these guns are sentimentally irreplaceable.

Please contact Stefanie at 902-225-4774 or stefredden@icloud.com

Hope the people get thier property back.

I understand where he's coming from. I hated the registry as much as anyone else and am glad to see it gone. But you must admit that it made it much more difficult to pawn off a stolen firearm that had been registered is all that Cafard is saying, or at least that's what I think he's saying.

WOW! i didnt know the existence of this. I was interested in an used rifle in last november and i didnt know the seller and i wanted to check if the rifle was "clean". Called the RCMP, the Register, the provincial police and even a pro reseller and NOBODY mentionned it, everyone said there is no way we can check that for you. I didnt trust the seller and i didnt buy the rifle.

My daughter & her husband had some guns stolen a couple years back. The RCMP located them only a few weeks or months later. She got back the two I gave her because I still had the original boxes with ser. no. on them. Her husband didn't get his back . He'd had the rifle since he was a kid. It was never registered and because they had no ser. no. for it, the cops wouldn't give it back. So, if it had been registered, well, maybe there is one good reason for a registry...nah.

The guns were found on a reserve, with several dozen more stolen firearms, vehicles, etc. My SIL couldn't prove which one was his.

Yep, it sucks! But you hear about it almost every weekend, I had several guns stolen from me last summer too, I know who the sh×%#ead is , but I just haven't got proof, he sold them shortly afterwards and used it up for meth.
