Not sure if this meets the criteria or not bit I was at the range this morning just to get some trigger time. It's been a little bit since I've even pulled a trigger so I shot some groups. This is a savage 10 predator barreled action in a h.s. stock.

Nice shooting TC ... The idea is to shoot the groups inside pre-drawn circles rather than drawing circles around groups after they are shot. The original idea ... which a chap on CGN brought over from Sniper's Hide ... was to show that it may not be all that easy to group inside a predetermined target. Thanks for posting. What caliber is that Savage?

It's a 223. Not my best showing but it will work. I'm confident the rifle is capable of the 1/2 mos challenge but this shooter hates the benches at our range. I prefer to sit behind not beside the rifle.

I see what you mean - need a square belly to fit ...looks like if the seats could be detached they might work a bit better? We still have a few with fixed seats, but at least the belly well is rounded. Nothing like a properly designed concrete top

Here's a bump on another of the challenge threads for shooters (like myself) that are avoiding the offhand challenges.
