Ok so here are the pics! Eagle lake produced like crazy with 50+ cutts caught in 2 days. Water was clear in Eagle lake and flies like chernobyl ants, humpies, stimulators, hoppers and nymphs all worked well. The RDR was high like last year and finding good holding water was harder this year. I had to put on lots of kilometers to find some but it was worth it! I also hiked to James Lake (lake behind eagle lake) which produced lots of brookies.

No kidding these little cutts were VERY aggresive. They attacked my inch long strike indicator more than the flies! I even threw out a few large streamers which had little 8 inch cutts picking at them till they got to shore! Unreal experience never seen fish so aggresive! And yes we saw a group of 9 elk on the hike to eagle lake.
