As a side note, I was 70/30 for the 7rm vs the 6.5 PRC....but once I put the 7 to my shoulder it was an easy choice. The long action balances and points much better for my build, the 6.5 had that tikka/xboltish excessive muzzle heavy feel which I have never liked nor found to improve with optics. Just goes to show you have to try them out for yourself.
Good for you,you will enjoy it and I hope it brings you many good hunting trips.

Cheers

Great choice, packed a 7mag as was my only rifle for long time and never worried about anything with 160gr bullets. Now pack others for fun.

Them Christiansons sure been catching my eye lately, lots of options and features for the price! I'd try one for sure just don't need anymore currently, and none I want to sell atm.

Yuppers,,, find a cartridge that suits your needs,,, add your optic,,, couple of boxes of ammo,,, then sight it in...

Grab your hunting pack along with your out of town gear and get at it...

Life is good off grid.
