Default Any 300blk shooters out there lets hear your component choices

Ive been wanting to experiment with this cartridge for a while picked one up today in a rem 700 to try 1:7 twist
Got some 110 ttsx and 225 eldm to load and some factory rem 125g accutip loaded ammo. I have h110 , lilgun and imr4198 on hand

i tried it a couple years ago now i dont remember being impressed with accuracy but i was impressed with how fast the bullet dropped at 200 it made my flat nose 30 30 look pretty flat shooting at that distance. i use it to knock over plates and offhand and such for which its pretty accurate at 100 metres i think you would be dialing already by 150 for offhand for 150gr. bullets

i also used cheap 110 gr armscor round nose but quit that they couldnt have been very good and 165 gr. hornady hpbt worked well but too expensive for my purpose. i think i could slightly compress about 16.5 gr of n120 which is more dense than n110 and they shot very well. i had some coated 245 gr. cast bullets for subsonic but they would keyhole when the temp went below about minus 10 so i quit using them plus im not really interested in sub

Load testing went well h110 and 110g ttsx shot sub moa and better for all loads at 100yds
Lilgun with the same bullet produced from 1.5moa to 0.5moa groups

Both powders produced from 2.0moa to .75 moa with 225g eldm with h110 doing a little better

Hornady brass and fed 205 primers

Shot from factory rem 700 aac-sd 16.5” barrel

Factory rem 125 accutip and otm and factory 220 otm shot within the 2moa range some better some flyers to 3moa a little inconsistent with the accutips otms did better

No chrony today bit estimated 2300fps with 110g and 1050 with 225g

Funny note i needed to put a 20moa rail on to dial for 200yds with the 225g vortex viper ran out of adjustment lol zero at 100yds and drops 16” at 200yds
110g zeroed at 100yds drops 7” at 200yds

Definitely fun cartridge for close range targets flat shooting is not a word for it though hahah
