You gotta love this province.
Within an hour of Calgary, another moose that spent the summer chowing down alfalfa with the cattle, (yummmm) taken on public land (well ... a grazing lease). Out of Canmore at 5 a.m., moose down by 10, quartered, packed out of the swamp and in the truck by 6 p.m. - a quick dinner and home to bed.
*Note the orange Cutco knife - this is it's 3rd moose from this area, plus 2 white-tails and an antelope without a sharpening - last season and this one. After this season though, I think I'll send it in to be touched up.
