if your ever close to grande prairie let me know!! hunt alot of grouse never with a dog. plan on getting a brittny spaniel in a couple of years. always wanted to hunt birds off a good dog.
I am 1.5 hours west of you but know where there are a ton of ruffies and some sharptails. Never hunted with dogs before but like to try. Available after work (430 pm) weekdays and on Saturdays.
I'm up for it - got a day or two coming up in November when I got time.
Only problem, never (successfully) hunted birds before, and I'm not a great short (still practicing). You may get a better offer !

Always wanted to hunt with dogs ,Even picked up a pointer pup years ago ,but had to but him down ,that was hard. I want to get anouther pointer
But realy would like to do a hunt with a bird dog first .
I am free any weekend. I have a gun and a bird game lience
I don't even care if I carry a gun or not ,I just want to see how dogs work.
if you don't mind a rookie taging along i'd be more than willing to kick in for fuel and other costs never hunted over dogs or for pheasants could be a lot of fun
