Default Anyone seeing an 312 cow elk?

been out and about, not seeing much on the right side of 22. Lots on the 212 side. Not looking for permissions just trying to locate some.

If anyone else has the January tag and wants to share some intel over the next week PM me.

There are tons of elk in both 212 and 312, problem is getting permission on the land where they are... Better have some family or friends around there to get access to land that holds them regularly.

Was out today, Jan 1, and saw herd of about 100 in 212 and about 30 in 312. Knocked on half a dozen doors and got no's all around. Have 312 tag so hopefully my luck improves.

Default Elk

Well u guys with the 212 tags, do us a favor and push them back to 312! We've been out all day and same story. Spotted a bunch, but all on lands without permission. Priddis area is a bit tough for permission... And I find equal number of polite folks and just plain rude folks.

Seen about 50 in 212.

Good luck guys... We will be out straight until we fill our tag.

Pm if you want to.

Best of luck.

See if you can get permission to hunt on the land which has been traded for the Calgary SW ring road. Private land both east and west of junction of hwy 8 and 22. Like the others say, GOOD LUCK! Plenty there.
