Default Dummy Handgun?

Just cleaning out some stuff my son left behind. One of the items appears to be a dummy Sig P226 blue plastic handgun. It appears to be to scale except in weight of course. These used for training? Any value in it?

Inquiring minds want to know

Yes they would be used for training. My agency uses blue guns for defensive tactics. Blue is a dead give away there are no live weapons on the mat. Can be used for region drills and take away drills. Made to feel and look like the real thing so they fit in your duty holster etc… value? I think you can get them for around 40-50$ here in the states new. Used would be maybe 30$.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the information. Makes sense unless of course you’re blue colourblind .
