On behalf of myself and my fellow AO members I think you earned your new ATV. Have some great memories with it.

Does the WIN card save you $2.00 on admission on youth too or just adult admissions ?

I found it! But there wasnt anyone really there. Too bad I had to get going pretty quick.
Parking was $12 today. And I believe the win card saves only on adult but I could be wrong.

Well.. It wasn't as busy as I thought it would be.

I met up again with Rob Miskosky and Richard Melon. finally.... Got to met T.J. Face to face... Previous shows he was always busy or doing a show. also met Jaimie for the first time, and Big Bull.

I think Jaimie almost had me talked into booking a trip. I think I definitely will In the future.

he replica of Cody Robins world record is impressive. i was going to say hi and shake his and Kelsey Claypool's hand... But they were busy. told myself i would come back after i checked out Barton's, but they had left for a dinner meeting...oh well maybe at Huntfest.

I don't see what the big hype was with Eva Shockey. Sure you wouldn't kick her out of bed for getting crumbs in the sheets, but holy..... Hot dogs circling like buzzards. And near the end of the show... i was going to say hi to RockymtnX.... But he was hovering the Eva Shockey booth like a fly on s**t. Haha. Thought I'd leave him alone to strut his stuff at her booth.

Only things i bought were mini donuts, a Live2Hunt t-shirt/DVD/ and window decal............and finally bought a Cutco Knife ....so looking forward to putting it to the text this upcoming season. Barton's had nothing I was interested in.

Also entered quite a few draws for Quads and Guns.

is anyone noticing its getting smaller every year in the hunting and fishing for actual gear? instead the retreats and crap is getting bigger and bigger, i was in a out within 2 hours today, left at noon, the ao booth was dead when i was there, sounds like it got a whole lot busier after noon, oh well.

i was hopeing for more new this year, but its just the same, not to mention all the boats, pontoon and them wake boats, the fishing boats were few and far between, i know there were lots but when a sales man wont even try to help and steer you to a damn wake boat i seriously wanted to yelled at them and tell em to make a sale you have to cater to the customer instead of to your salary.

overall im going to skip the next year or 5.

Pretty good show. Spent only about $800 ha, not bad actually.
Ft Sask F&G membership, muck boots & sox, tickets on a whack of stuff, and went for the Celestron Granite ED's 10 x 42 bino's, Surprising clear optics. I would compare them to the non HD Viper, wish I could afford a Razor HD, but these will do me just fine.

Ya I wasn't impressed with the amount of actual gear they had available. I think wholesale sports was the only place that carried fishing rods with the exception of the fly rods at the demo. Also I think there was only one maybe two booths that I could find
bipods, but I was busy so I didnt get a chance to look at all the booths fully

You've got to remember.... The Fishing Center ... Used to be a huge part of that show.....and since they shut down their store... They aren't a part of the boat show either.

What a fantastic day!!!
Nothing but talking Salmon with person after person. 10 hours just flew by.

I met with so many A/O guys, I lost count. It never fails to amaze me what a great bunch of people are on this board. We all really do need to have a get together.

Show was busy today and I expect the same on Sunday. Now I just need to find away to get a booth at the fishing hole show next weekend

Please stop by tomorrow and say hi, it's always great to talk with people from the board.

Btw, did I mention that I met rockymtnx parents..... Great people, I wonder if rocky was adopted?????
Lolololol

See the rest of you tomorrow.

Jamie

Btw, I must say I really did appreciate all the guys stopping by. The great things and interest you all showed in our company was fantastic.
Bib bore.... You are coming fishing.... Start packing. Lolollolol

Was there Friday night, would have stopped to talk at the AO booth, but they were mighty busy. Picked up a whack of raffle tickets, drooled over lots of boats and atv's. Worth the trip in, especially if they pull my ticket on any of the draws I supported.

For me, its seeing all the guys and gals I have come to know over the years.

Got to talk to many AO members too.. Happy I joined this forum as it has given me the chance to meet some fantastic people.

As far as hunting gear and stuff, its a good show. Everyone tries hard. I appreciate it.

before today I had never been to a how this size and it was fun to be apart of.

couldn't be leave evas both was empty when I got to it (i was there early) had a great talk with the girls got a T-shirt and a picture with them, I look nervous as hell for some reason

In the gear department I felt kinda let down the only thing on the list I was able to cross off was a map pack for my GPS. I ended up going to Cabelas because I was in town and got a few other things crossed off.

well at Cabelas my visa acidently fell through the till at the gun counter I was looking for a TC .223 but seeing how they only had it in snow camo I allowed my self to be talked into a savage axis... IDK time will tell I guess

Well, I tried making it out. Got as far as getting to Edmonton. My Inlaws came from prince George to see WEM. My father in law was stoked to go to. That plan didn't mesh up to my overbearing mother in laws second by second itinerary. I wish there was a smiley that was even more upset then this guy to show how I am feeling about this.

Ahhhhhhh
Home and in my own bed. Nice steam and unpacked.
Nice to be back. Looks like we might hit the fishing show next weekend.
How's that show?
As for Ed's outdoor show, much busier and bigger than calgarys.
Good show all the way around. We will be back next year.

Jamie
