“In August, Michel Thibodeau and Lynda Thibodeau were awarded $21,000 for having their language rights violated by Air Canada because their planes”

“In 2016, the Thibodeaus filed 22 complaints for offences under the Official Languages”


$1,500 payout over drinking fountains with English-language buttons
The Federal Court has ordered the Senate to pay a Montreal-area man $1,500 in compensation after he complained that his language rights were violated by the English text on drinking fountain buttons in the East Block on Parliament Hill. https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/1-500-...tons-1.4698116

WOW!!!! Perfect example of what Quebec wants Quebec gets. Out West we governed by them. SAD.... As long as it suits them they don't give 2 turds about us here. We are maybe like collateral damage to that province. Seems kinda funny that they can hold every province in this country hostage for their "we don't have enough French signs posted". REALLY?? Time to rid all the sponges. Quebec and the Queen of ENGLAND. Why we still got ties to them (England)? Are we not independent enough? Have we not been on our own long enough to be off that teat?

Go to Montreal and say the same about the English signs on store fronts in certain parts of Quebec. See where that gets ya. It is not totally equal by no means
