One tag per person. IMO it will not double the admin overhead but may substantially increase effectiveness of this hunt which is supposed to be herd control. Plus partner licenses. Besides, how many people drawn managed to fill both tags anyway?

Do you think that they just randomly chose the number of hunters per hunt? Why do you suppose that they didn't draw twice as many hunters per hunt? Why not three times as many hunters?

Exactly!, they have figured out how many hunters they can handle at one time and how many days they can interrupt their own usage of the land, since it is cull, they want to remove as many animals as possible, therefore 2 tags per person...

That's, again, obvious limitations they take into account. However I pointed out side effects of this approach.

Do you not think that they factor n that some people won't show up when they set the number of tags to draw?

As for your idea of allowing twice as many hunters on the base at once, do you think that compromising everyone's safety, by overcrowding hunters, is less of a side effect, than having a few tags not being used?

The base is not endless prairie. A rough guess of 25 miles by 30 miles. 750 sq. miles. With some of the base closed to hunting and the reserve in the northeast corner. There might be 400 to 500 sq. miles to hunt.(I thing it might be less)With 100 hunters in there at a time. That's 4 to 5 sq. miles a hunter. Put 200 in there that cuts it down to 2 to 2.5 sq. miles a hunter.
You also have to factor in F.N. hunters. And Wednesday with both bull and cow hunters.
From what I saw last year you do not what more hunters in there.
