Default Mountain bike access to lakes.

Hi everybody. Hope everyone had a great season of icefishing. As the summer season is right around the corner I was wondering if anyone knows of any lakes in the west country that are mountain bike friendly. Me and the GF just bought some bikes and are very eager to get out riding in some beautiful country. Thanks for any info.

What do you mean "west country"? Also, what kind of shape are you in (or will you be in)?

seriously. try jasper or banff. there are many lakes an hours ride down a trail from the road that produce great fishing and sights.

Yeah lakes like fortress are good for 3/4 of the way... then you gotta hike the other 1/4..
