Default Fox

Checking your coyote sets & catching the odd fox , how many of you fellas are putting your fox catches to auction or holding onto them to consider having them tanned due to the low price on fox . I think its around the $ 80.00 dollar mark for tanning on a 20.00 to 26.00 dollar fox , then shipping cost if you use a out of town tanner .

For the most part i get them tanned. I am sending in a couple to text the market. I have given some folks that help me with either bait or given me land access the tanned fox. For the 80$ out of pocket the 20 coyotes I catch on their place sure makes up for it.

I've been selling mine tanned with good results. i get 150 per fox. they sell fairly quickly. last year I tried selling a few tanned coyotes but i couldn't get a decent price so this year all yotes are going to the auction.

Anybody want a tanned cross fox? I have a bunch. 15,000 coyotes +/- and I have never caught a cross fox or silver fox... so I bought a bunch! Cross foxes that is.

Ya... so I'm going to tan my reds too. Seeing as I have a webstore coming right up (daughter is working up a storm!) might as well sell some fur on it. That'll be my venue.

Let’s see, Halford’s is selling for $165, Phil is selling for $150, and others may sell for $140 so I gotta sell for $130.

I have 4 that I might tan to trade or give away to people in return for favours.

Just caught a very nice Cross fox today in a wolf snare! lol Not sure how that happened but it is the 2nd time in a wolf snare and yes I hang my snares high.
I am thinking of tanning it. They are a real nice piece of fur

No fox for cougars.

Maybe the butcher shop owner or the Inuit lady that makes my beaver mitts. Gratuities out of appreciation.
