Default .22LR and 17HMR- anyone finding any deals?

Can Tire LLoydminster has 17hmr fed premium for $18.99, no .22's.

Walmart had bluk .22 525 for $28.99, no HMR.

Vermilion Co-op has Winchester Vmax 17 HMR-$19.00.

Sheps had some unleaded 17HMR for $24.99

Seriously? Gophers are going to cost this much this year? I thought ammo prices were dropping?

And they are going to go up way up...

In the past year, the price of copper has risen from about $2.00/lb to over $3.50/lb. Likewise, the cost of lead (used for bullet cores) has jumped from $0.60/lb to $1.05/lb

not sure what the price is now, but last summer the cheapest place for 22 shells anyways was Bass Pro. There other ammo is average priced but a winchester box of 500 or 550 whatever they are was only like 15 bucks..
havent bought any 17 shells for a while , sounds like there quite pricey though..still have a couple boxes left thankfully.

should be lightly offset with the dollar gaining about 20 percent this year

Exactly why I am buying 12,000 rounds of 17mach2 at $65 per brick. It's not going to get any cheaper.

American Eagles, $20 for the 500 brick, not 400
Federal Bulk Packs $22.50

Doug Rainer at the Consort Gun Show today.

I didn't look at any .17 but heard a lot of whining about the prices.
