The amount of wrong info in this thread is incredible.
You MUST submit a harvest survey for all SPECIAL LICENSE DRAWS. Failing to do so will result in you not being able to purchase next year's wildlife certificate. You will also have to pay a fine of $15+tax for each draw that you did not submit a survey for.
You DO NOT need to complete a survey for non-draw licenses.
Walleye Special Licences have nothing to do with the big game requirements or penalties. They are not mandatory.
If you have received a fine incorrectly, you need to contact the RELM Help Desk at 1-888-944-5494.
These are the rules as per today.
I encourage everyone to read the complete regs EVERY YEAR, as changes are common.
