I have a Steyr Pro Hunter 270. I am having a hard time finding a magazine. Steyr dosen't get back to me, neither does the Canadian distributor North Silva. Any ideas? Maybe I should have bought another brand with some customer service?

Very accurate rifles. Amazing safeties.
Once you’re set up you’ll forget the hassle to get the mag.
But, yes, as mentioned, talking to prophet river is always a good choice. Typically the best first choice

So who did you buy the gun from and if they are a dealer how come they can't get you another magazine? Second, if you can locate one in the States, Prophet River or IRGuns can bring it up for you.

Exclamation Get it before it's gone!

Found one on the Nordic Marksman site. There seems to be some confusion in the description, as if they copied and pasted the information from the 300WM and 7MM RM magazine on to the page for the 270 and 30-06 magazine.
The SKU (2608050601) on the linked page matches the manufacturers SKU for the 270 and 30-06 mag.
The SKU for the 300WM and 7MM RM magazine is 2609050601.

Good find but we really do pay to be Canadian. These are $44 bucks in the States $150 up here. Anyone got some Vaseline? By the way, when I clicked on your link all the info came up right for a 270 mag.

That price does suck, but all I can say is they won't get cheaper the harder they get to find and even at $44 US. it will probably be close to the same price by the time you get it up here unless you can get a few other things at the same time. I sold a pre 81 Browning BLR, the 2 new in box spare mags sold separately for more than the gun and 1 mag was worth. I always buy at least two spare mags anytime I buy a mag fed gun. Never lost a mag but have sold the spares for far more than I paid for them almost every time.

Nice rifles, but very expensive to get parts for (if you can find them)

I ordered it. It says 30-06 but I assume it will fit 270. For that price they should send me a free rifle to put it in.....
