Default Hunting action camera set up

Hey all. Question on your action camera set ups for filming your hunts.
Can you give me some pros and cons about your set up.
I’m thinking of going this route. Let me know what you think for cost vs functionality. I’m by no means a videographer or going to run out an purchase a movie quality camera but I’d love to put a self hunt on YouTube this year.
I’m looking at the GoPro Hero6. And the Feiyu G5 gimbal. (Reviews say the hero 6 has stabilizers already ??)
I like the G5 because it says water resistant. The GoPro karma is not waterproof and it can only be charged via a plug. In the back country that’s not going to fly.
Set up is around $525 for the go pro and $265 for the G5 (amazon prices)

How is your set up compare and is it good quality ??
Thanks for your input.

I just recently got a ATN Shot Trak HD from Wolverine Supplies. $200 dollars shipped to my door. Mounted it to the side of my mini 14. The 5x magnification was the selling point to me. The video quality is not amazing compared to larger higher quality cameras. I was more looking at a camera for documenting the hunt. It is plenty good for taking coyotes out to 200 yards in my opinion. I think it was supposed to have audio but mine doesn`t seem to work but I am only interested in the video any ways.
