Default Wind fence

Thinking of building a wind fence on the west end of our property. It will be approx 130 foot long and 10 foot high. And suggestions on what to build it out of? I was thinking of drilling 5 foot deep holes and either cementing or packing in gravel with 12 foot 6x6 or 4x6 about 8 foot apart. I was then going to run 3 rows of horiszkntal 2x6x16 rough on the posts and then screw the 10 foot 1x6 rough cut vertical to the 2x6. I live in southern Alberta so we get some nasty wind. Think she will hold?

I was just looking at a house on pine lake and I noticed several wind break fences up around the sourounding neighbours homes. It was basically all large nets with about 1x1 square spacing. Not sure how much it would help but it looked trendy.
