Kitamat

Anybody going to Kitamat for spring Steelhead? Anybody been in the past?

I've gone chasing them a couple times around the end of March.

The first time I went down chasing them on foot. Wow - big rivers - very intimidating.

The weather can really be hit and miss and the rivers can be turned to chocolate pretty quickly.

However, I did manage to get into 8 steelhead my first trip down. Fish deep inside bends where seams will hold fish in the inside seam (at least that's where I found them).

Locals to the Terrace area won't give up a lot of advice - they really don't like as AB boys fishing their home waters.
