Default Fly fishing groat creek or whitecourt?

Hi there I’m going to be doing a bear hunt camp trip next week In whitecourt groat creek area I’ve hunted the area quite a bit for black Bear was wondering if it’s worth bringing my fly rod? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

Aren't the waters closed until June 16 in that region?

Groat creek is closed and holds no fish wen it is open to small. Walk to the mouth where meets the mcleod try for walleye no streams available for flyfishing untill June 16
