Anyone recognize this rod brand?

I inherited this rod from my grandfather a number of years ago and got curious about the manufacturer. The label is partially worn off, and my google search has been unproductive. I was going to put it on the wall as part of a vintage fishing display but hoped to know a bit more about it first.

Anyone here recognize this logo? It’s a 6 foot 4 piece spinning rod.

I believe the label reads "HAWK ROD". I recall seeing the label, but can't place the date.
