Dang!

I was sleepy..... went to bed.

I think we gots another locker room problem.

I think it showed itself way back when Kass asked for a trade.

The supporting cast is meh.. but I see a lot of passiveness out there.

JJ, Kass, Spooner, about 7 others.

We also have a general manager problem.

If there is a locker room problem, and I believe there is. The GM should be aware of it and fix it. Even if it costs money like eating a good portion of a Lucic contract!

Our core (with Klef), is not terrible. But I’ve seen every single supporting cast player play way way better than they are( with the exception of the youn Finn).

I think the team is divided into, those who know they are the future.... and those that know their time is done in Edmonton.

I also still believe that our media chews on players too hard and is too relentless..... Cajullia pretty much said as much in a recent Chicago interview.

Sounds like there’s guys in the Organisation that don’t know enough sports psychology to get the most from their players.

Interesting post game from Hitch. I think he basically indicted the whole supporting cast as passengers and demanded aschwavk of new players.

I predict;

Eberle comes back or our first round pick goes to Philly to rent Simmonds.... or both happens.

Lucic goes east to bulk up whoever has to go through Washington. We retain 3 mill.

...... anyways... it’s AO shack nasty season now, so I think imma gonna take a break from posting fer a bit.... avoid the inevitable flame wars. Get serious about training and less screen time.

..... mebbe come back once we make da playoffs.

Next five games r a must win.

Go Mighty Oil!!!!

Meanwhile, Ryan Strome has 5 goals in NY. Brandon Manning continues to sit. That trade (and there are others) was a head scratcher from the beginning. Not sure if he's better than Matt Benning but the fact that they traded for him and he's not playing is a mystery. Big disconnect between the coach and GM, I think.

We've been hearing all year that the Oilers absolutely have to make the playoffs or the GM loses his job. Katz badly wants at least one round of playoff revenue and box seats are expiring. A lot of fans are deadly afraid of a Chia trade. I'm not a fan of trading away our first round draft pick and/or prospects/active players for a player or two that will help us try to make the playoffs this year. I just don't trust Chia to come out of that ahead. I'm not saying no trades. Trading Lucic or other 'dump' style trades would be fine if you get a taker but I don't want the Oil selling the farm to try and make the playoffs. One of the few things the Oil have going right now and have done well under the Chia/Gretzky era is build the farm club. I'd much rather stay the course this year and reset in the summer.

How do you measure ones ability to sit on the bench? Posture? Frequency of craps? Amount of water consumed? Bugars picked?

That's awesome to hear! Did they get a nice ribbon to go with that? Better yet, will that translate to some wins?

Why ask a question you already know the answer to...Check out the H2H Oilers vs Flames...your answer is in the statistics
BOA is a beast of it's own!!
Just like the Labour Day classics in the CFL..look how the ESKIES do against the STAMPS

I think the Oilers will win. And no, i am not smiling behind my phone like a dink. Its on the the tail end of a back to back for us and theres a chance Smith could start. And you guys still have the savior on your team. Who has take a team from last place to a team slightly above last place. And Kassian, I love Kassian. I have named his teeth "respect for libs" every game there is less.

Uhhhh.. We are winning both...
53-43 Flames
22-15 Stamps on Labour day since it has been continuous.

Anything else you wish to compare?

"While being right up against the cap could make it tough, a first-round pick, a goaltender and maybe a young developing forward are likely all in play, Rishaug said Monday."

Not sure if fans should be thrilled they are possibly going for it given the competition above them or terrified that Peter may oversee a significant trade.

Rumor for the rumor is that all scouting staff, as well as Nicholson are working on this to try and get Connor a winger that can score.

Someone might very well want to play with McJesus.
I am just concerned the issues go way deeper than that and there are some problems with that locker room.

The playoffs are in reach for you guys. Will something like this be enough?

Bessie. Don't you dare quit before the miracle.

What I cant understand is why didn't they try and get better in the off season? Why wait until it's time to hit the panic button.

I don't think Chia, understood what the word anomaly meant, he still might not!
