Default Spring 2010 brown bear

This completes my collection. I shot a black my second season of bear hunting, a cinnamon with a blonde patch in the middle of his back the next year, and last season was this brown, skull just over 20". Chased him into the woods like an idiot. We did the walk 40 yards, then stop and look back, walk some more, stop, freeze, walk then he finally stopped long enough for the shot.
He's my biggest to date, saw a blonde last season as well, mabey he's still around.

Nice looking bears everyone. Mine are big by no means but the brown was my first, black the second. I also switched to a mathews and have another black one. I must now be selective and look for other colors and size. Only weeks to go.

Default 2010 bears

first bears.JPGthis photo has been on the forum already but here's a shot of my huntin' buddy and I with our first bruins. After two years of bear-watching we had to go and spoil a good thing and kill a couple

Did you end up measuring the skull on your spring bear?

My dad used to live on Vancouver island before he passed away, and I've actually heard that the black bears on the island are actually much more aggressive than the main land black bears! Not sure why this is, it could just be a rumor

Lopa;

Your facebook shows you as a member of 'The Anti hunting movement' page, and 'Stop the grizzly killing'.

42 posts from Lopa and most of them thanking someone for uploading pictures or asking members to upload more pictures. And everyone of them about either bears or wolves. And not one picture posted himself.

Someone should ban this anti fast just like he was on HuntingBC.
