Default You didn't "seen" anything.

You didn't "seen" anything. You likely SAW something.

The word seen gets so misused around here in almost every thread.

I'm FAR from a scholar of ANY kind so please don't see this as "The Grammar Police" and please think of it as a tool to help using both words correctly.

Seen IS still a word, just a grossly misused word.

I cringe when someone says they "seen" something speaking in past tense

https://writingexplained.org/seen-vs-saw-difference

Rant over..

The above cartoon angered and amused me, all in the same moment. I’m no master of the written word by any means but in my circle of friends, I suppose I’m the Grammar Nerd.

Welcome......

Lurker....I have a cat I call lurker...sits in the shadows...waits for a can of wet food and only licks the gravy off the top....

Got a lab that makes short order of the rest.....

No more lurking.....get lab like on us!

I agree with this. I have often been confused why people who are so passionate about making a point use "Turdo", "Nutley", "Lieberal" etc. This basically removes your credibility when you start tossing jr high insults.

The one that irks me is the growing trend to mix then and than, they’re not even close to the same meaning!

Every time I write "effect" or "affect" I have to stop and think about it for a minute.

I’m angered too! And I’m offended by the use of “Enter”. First it’s “Wear a Mask” and now THIS. No one is going to tell me what to do! (Now if it said “Entry” I’d be happy to comply.)
