Unhappy Don Mazankowski is gone.

Aw, that is too bad, I really liked Don. He was a very good friend of my Uncle, who was an MLA for 10 years. Deepest condolences to family and friends of this great man.

Sad to hear this. Don was a decent guy with a great sense for public office. Condolences to Don's family and friends. Happy trails Don.

He and my Dad were acquaintances. When ever he’d come to my home town he always stopped in at my Dads shop. RIP Maz

My dad often times got wake up calls from him. Don called dad at 6:30 am at least 3 times a week for years. We're still in contact with one of his deputys.

It surprised me how hard it hit me. I only recall him from television. He always seemed to be a champion of the West.

We have a 'state of art' heart health centre at U of A hospital as result of his efforts as MP. Good Alberta guy!
