Default Another great trapping season!

Well, all the steel is pulled from the bush. Packing up the fur to take to the ATA at the end of the week. Kind of depressing getting rid of all the fur you worked so hard to catch and prepare! May have a chance to go after another otter or two. Always like to take a picture to display the year's catch. Good luck to all the other trappers!

Very few weasels and lots of marten on my line. Didn't have a single weasel set off a marten trap. Only caught them in weasel boxes where I saw sign.

Uke, excellent trapping. Us trappers know you work very smart and hard to produce such a nice bunch of fur. You will get even better in future years as
you learn the high producing areas of your line. Well done!!

Wow. Thats quite the corner you painted yourself into. Congrats on a great season. Hope prices are high.
I noticed that 1 skunk was fur out and 1 skin out. How come?

Was planning on selling the 1st one I caught...so prepared it for market. Then I caught a second and am now going to get them tanned and made into gauntlet mitts. Wanted to show off the fur.

Good going bud! The marten on my line seem to have nearly disappeared over the last 2 years! 3 years ago they logged out 3 sections of heavy timber! Seems to have totally dispersed the marten! I caught 1 this season
