Default Dismantling a Beaver Lodge

Has anyone ever dismantled a beaver lodge by hand? I have to trap some nuisance beaver and the landowner wants the lodge gone as well. It's fairly big at about 10' or 15' in diameter and I'm not sure if I want to take that job on. I have some tannerite but I'd rather not use it if I don't have to. How much work would it be for a couple of guys to dismantle it by hand?

EDIT: The landowner can't afford to hire heavy equipment.

It's tough and time consuming. We tried it a couple of times, and finally brought in a friend that used dynamite.

An excavator is the best thing for that. Doing it byhand I'm thinking is going to be a lot of hard work. Maybe use an old chain saw and cut it apart.

Have done about 40 with a chainsaw. Just use the environmental bar oil so as not to contaminate the water etc.

Leave it there, it creates a nice wetland for other animals and birds to live.
