Nicely done, if I can offer something, it would be to wear a white or lighter shirt, so the fly is easier to see.

the dark shirt just don't work well that's why the camcorder had problems staying in focus !

Good job man, like to see local stuff from local people.

Only suggestions would be maybe facing the camera the other way and having a white wall or something as the background and trying to get it in HD quality.

Good job. As you said the carpenter ant can be and effective fly for cutties.

The only change I would do to the fly is to trim the hackle at the bottom by the hook gap. Just to flatten the bottom a bit to make sure it's right side up when it hits the water. But that is a minor adjustment.

A light blue or light green shirt for a background is always good to show the fly more.
