Default Rut pit video

Some great footage of moose behaviour at a rut pit,lucky bull has two cows fighting over him.....he must be wearing Axe,lol

Red alert here rookies!
This is the kind of sign you’re looking for when moose hunting. It’s every bulls wet dream to have action like this in his territory. Bulls make these p pits in their home range right after they shed their velvet and monitor them through the first rut looking for receptive cows. Have done very well bow hunting setting up a stand near a pit and calling. May take the better part of a week but rest assured, they will check their sign markers.

That is a real good video! Rare to see that kind of activity for sure. I have never seen it go on for that long, seems they always move off and out of sight. Fantastic catch!

Great video and amazing they taking video right there If that was a Alberta moose I sure wish he was in 531 last year.

I have never seen a sticker like that on a bull in the 40 years I've chased 'em. Thanks for the link. Rut pits produce for us archers for sure.

I was gonna say, did anyone else notice the ~4 inch long drop-tine on the bottom of his left palm ?
