Tens machines are awesome if you have the right ailment. I bought 1 in Hawaii when I was going to the flats fly fishing. Worked like advertised.

Stick a pad on each temple and dial to full power. Might not stop the cramping but it'll take your mind off it briefly.

Cramps can happen if you get low on water. Get a bit dehydrated and I get hellish cramps in my foot and or calf.

Default Cramping is fairly common as a side-effect to ketosis

It's possible that supplementing magnesium, sodium, and / or potassium and increasing hydration might do more for preventing cramps than a Dr. Ho product: https://www.dietdoctor.com/low-carb/leg-cramps

Hopefully you can isolate and fix the cause.

I have one works good for muscle pain I can't get past level 5 my 82 year old Dad uses 8 everyday on his feet say's I'm a wimp.

For cramps try drinking an once or two of pickle juice, the juice contains salt and vinegar, which may help replenish electrolytes.

London Drugs carries pills called Hylands Leg Cramps. Wife has used successfully for leg and toe cramps.

http://www.hylands.com/products/hylands-leg-cramps

She can not go near her Tens during those spasms.

For leg cramps I use a spray made in East Selkirk Manitoba. It's called "That stuff for PAIN". Relieves the cramp in about 30 seconds. Ingredients are Menthol, water, 2-propanol,Jojoba oil, Camphor oil, clove oil, Eucalyptus oil, and peppermint oil. Usually find it at Home Hardware stores right at the checkout counter. It does smell up the house so usually hobble outside to spray it on but it does work fast.
