Been around a lot of forums, moderated a few myself. Seen more than my share of skirmishes, and been involved in a few too.
Overall I'd have to say that Cat was one of the most level-headed and fair moderators I've run across in my time. Great Job all round!

Thank you for your dedication, perseverance, and patience in overseeing the herd. It cannot have been easy some days.  
On the plus side, now your forum contributions will not be subject to the whining "you only say that because you are a moderator" replies.

Thanks so much for the sterling service here --- and I really do hope that you continue as a regular poster. Your services have been much appreciated even by those who lurk more than post. Losing your evenhanded moderating is bad enough - losing your input from your vast experience would be far worse.
Hope you have many great plans for all of the free time that you're going to have now!

Good job. It has been fun. I laughed. I cried. You made profound statements mixed with a careful sprinkling of frivolity. We had our ups and downs as well as long straight sections intermixed with curves. You taught us many things like having our own personal online moderating Holiday Inn Express locked behind a computer screen. While we can never expect to fly on points together there will alway be a perch with your name on it in Calgary. It is getting soft and fuzzy so timing of your visit could be key. While pizza with spicy Italian sausage goes poorly with cheap whine you will escape whining over hot air.

The rules are pretty clear cut. No insults. Buddy said cat was a power tripping loser. An opinion would be "I felt Cat stepped in too frequently or Cat abused his power". Calling him a loser is not an opinion IMO.

Tell you what buddy, you can be the sales rep(north district) of my new Ozonic rock buisness. No investment required and you will be comng in at ground level (literally). I figure you could make 5-10 bucks the first month alone! After that the skies the limit, as long as AB does't run out of rocks.
