do you know what it is? I've seen a tool that looks a lot like this, except it doesn't have the sharp points sticking out the end. the one I saw has kind of a flat end on it that is somewhat sharp like a knife and the natives used it for fleshing a moose hide. maybe this one is a way to get everything started??

this one is a fair bit fancier than the one I saw.
