Free Admission To Outdoor Pools

In case you guys didn't know, all outdoor pools in Edm. will have no admission charge all summer. Heard it on CHED radio. I used to go to Bordon Park outdoor pool a lot when I was a kid.
I don't know about other cities like Calgary.

Free Admission

In celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, admission to all outdoor pools is free from July 1 to the end of the 2017 season.

Free access includes: drop-in swimming during operating hours, including public and lane swimming.

Lessons and rentals will still be available for a fee.

Man I haven't been to a pool in years. But nothing better than outdoor pool in the summer. When I was growing up that is all we had in our town.

The outdoor pool is a great place to bring the family.
On nice weekends they're a zoo.
If everyone is using free park passes, and free pool passes this summer, there has got to be some activity with less people than normal this summer.
