These guys have been caught again and again and again......i guess the money they are making from illegal outfitting is more than their fines. They need to have firearm bans, their rights stripped and do some jail time. It is sickening the amount of trophy animals these clowns have poached. I have had to personally attend court to have these poachers convicted before. Every single year there are numerous charges against them and the fines are not slowing them down....they just go to a different area and poach more.

It sounds like the only way to stop these scumbags, is to put them behind bars.

I wonder what might happen when they don't bother to pay the fines?

I have no idea how to find out if the fines are ever paid...but i would be shocked if they are.

I agree 100 %. In reality, would that happen over wildlife infractions when dealing with FN violators? Seems like the courts tend to turn the other cheek in these cases.

They turn you over to a collection agent, if you have a good credit rating it will hurt you if not who cares

They should be put on a chain gang and do hard labor for twelve hours per day. Credit them $10 per hour until their fines are paid off, before they are released.

And deduct their room and board from their pay.

Apparently this is the 4th time since 2012 and more than $172,000 in fines !!

That from the post on the Saskatchewan Forum: http://www.saskatchewanhunts.ca/foru...ead.php?t=7567

Pretty damn obvious that fines simply are no deterrent to these bad actors!
I agree with several of the suggestions on the forum noted above.
Jail time, hard labor and complete loss of hunting privileges for life!
