Grizz or Blackie ?
This is a test for you experienced bear hunters. What species is this bear?

Again, bad pick, but the nose looks like a black bear from what I think I can see.

Color is suspiciously Grizzly. Not a big bear, hard to say.
Grizz

Looks photo shopped to me, when I zoomed in, the back looked like it was about a foot higher than the rear end. With a definite line through the center of the picture. I could be wrong, but that's what I see. Colour would point towards grizzly, but head shape looks more black bear"ish".

That's a black bear. Summer hide looks a little bleached out but there is no mistaking that head and front end

Some funny comments here lol. It was for sure a black bear. But at a distance I first thought grizz. No photo shop here. Neat color but no much of a hide on it yet.

A blind man on a fast horse could tell that that is a black bear.

He needs to take this test.

Have to pass with 80 % to get a bear license in Montana.
Grizz
