Default Zeiss Dialyt 10x40 T*P*

Looking at a pair of these. Was wondering if anyone can provide a comparison to a modern model of binos. I know they won't compete against the HD glass but where do they fall in today's landscape?

I used a pair for over ten years before replacing them with a pair of 10x42 Leica Geovid HDs. The Leica optics are superior, but not by as much as a person might expect.

I still use mine as my main binoculars. The only ones I can compare them too is Cabelas Euro 10x42. I bought the Euros new for $1000 Canadian over 10 years ago. The Zeiss are another 10 or more years older and are every bit as good.
