Right on Kurt, very nice buck indeed. Sometimes it takes years for the right one to show back up ,but once it happens the feeling is worth the wait

Thanks guys.
MooseRiverTrapper, no I don’t have pics of him from 3 years ago, I do have pics of his “home” but I blew it setting up on him, he busted me right off the bat. I’ll post a thread later explaining what happened along with some pics of where he lived.

What story. He was crossing a field. The Black Dodge Dually slowed down. The pool noodle was carefully wrapped around the stock. Window came down. Game over.
LOL

Congrats Kurt, a truly great example of an Alberta stud WT!! A chance at a deer of that caliber is what keeps hunters going through the season, looking forward to the write up of your journey with this deer.....

ahhh you forgot about the white rimmed sunglasses and the "what ya lookin' at smirk" along with the bulge of chew that got swallowed after the third running shot while the Dixie Chicks was blaring "Earl has to die"
Dam Kurt you rock....in the story please include calibre, make, model of rifle, scope....handloads etc....all part of a great ending!
