It is not based on any science mumbles. Sport fishermen take under 1% of stocks of concern, with FN taking the vast majority. Even commercial fishermen take a small amount of the actual stocks of concern in the Fraser River. Apparently reason for close is to ensure FN do not net the rivers, yet there has been 94 openings in Fraser for FN while everyone else is closed, so that line is BS. Using Chinook as a reconciliation tool.
