I was wondering why the blue jays and magpies were making such a fuss in the backyard. They usually only make a commotion like this in the spring when the are trying to eat each other's young. Looked out the patio door and saw this:

We've got one in the neighborhood as well. He's taking care of the jack rabbits these days. Had one the other day on the ground, picked it up and flew away with it.
