Default Needed Stuff

First aid kit, axe, fire starter, space blanket, extra socks, gloves, compass, lighter or waterproof machos, flint, a good knife, and a 410 shotgun

I usually carry all this in my travel pack except the gun, my 8 year old grandson looked at it one day and said this is your Boo Boo Bag, and I said what, his reply was if you pull a boo boo in the bush this will help you survive..

First aid kit including a pair of surgical pliers for those gushers.
Knifes
Binoculars
Blanket
Foil
I made a hash pipe out of a fence post in a pinch one day
So technically speaking all a guy needs is a bag of weed
and your emergency kit is complete

Not trying to be a jerk, for clarity are you referencing hemostats? And if so, may I suggest a better option for hemorrhage control might be something like Quikclot or similar.
I can see hemostats being useful for other tasks perhaps, but self application for a 'gusher' is likely not their best use.
Even a CATS tourniquet would be better suited, greater likelihood you'll be able to self apply with success for a deadly extremity bleed.

Somewhat of a difference between survival items and outdoorsmen items. I haven't seen beer yet? I was always impressed with the gear my Dad used to have packed in his Cherokee six including a homemade, sawed off, single shot 22 pistol.

You are going to need to add snacks to your list ........ lotsa crunch, sweet, salty, chewy varieties to keep that buzz of your satisfied.

Cheetos, beef jerky, chocolate, some fizzy pop and salt peanuts, granola.

Also don't forget to mix up a box 1/2 and 1/2 od chocolate covered peanuts and raisins, just to mess with your mind and tastebuds.

But whatever you do, do not eat that fizzing pop rocks in that state - could be dangerous.

Every outdoorsman needs the Bumper Dumper.

Just make sure to take the keys out of the ignition before you sit down for a #2. I had a buddy who learned that lesson the hard way. Yup, I can be a real A-hole sometimes but screw it, nothing that a few diaper wipes couldn’t clean up...

A positive attitude. when the season grind gets long and animals get scarce. It’s hunting, anything can happen at any time.

Esbit pocket stove with a tin cup, a hot cup of coffee, tea or soup on a cold day warms the soul.
